Pool Rules

THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY- SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK

Pool Hours: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM

​Lap – Swim Hours: (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday) 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM ONLY

1. Pool opens the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and closes September 07, 2025. (Unless by a City directive or decision of the Board of Directors prohibits such pool from opening).

2. The Association pool is private for the use and enjoyment of Association residents. Each unit is allowed four (4) guests. The Resident must always accompany their guests.

3. Owners and/or Residents are responsible for ensuring that their guests are aware of and always follow these rules. An Owner must be current on all Association obligations required of the Owner for the Owner or their Resident to be allowed use of the pool or other facilities.

4. Within the pool enclosures, as a courtesy to others and for your own safety, please observe:

a) No animals are allowed in the pool area at any time unless provided by law. The Department of Health has authority to close a pool if it is reported that a pet has been allowed in the pool or within the pool enclosure.

b) No smoking, e-cigs/vapes, chewing tobacco, marijuana or alcohol is allowed in the pool area.

c) Food and drinks are allowed in the pool area, but NOT in the pool. Trash must be disposed of properly.

d) ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS of any kind is allowed in the pool area.

e) Bicycles, tricycles, skateboards, rollerblades, and similar play equipment are not allowed in or around the pool area.

f) No dangerous or boisterous play, roughhousing, fighting, swearing, abusive language, running, diving or other disruptive behavior at any time.

g) No rafts, kayaks or large flotation devices are allowed in the pool.

h) No street clothes or cutoffs are allowed in the pool. Appropriate swimming attire is always required. No nude bathing.

i) All safety equipment in the pool area is strictly for life safety and for EMERGENCY USE ONLY.

5. All pool furniture must remain inside the pool area and umbrellas closed before leaving.

6. Pool gates must be kept closed and locked. Each Owner is responsible for their pool credential; it should not be loaned to or shared with non-Owners at any time. Replacement costs for lost or stolen electronic keys will be the responsibility of the Owner.

7. No Diving allowed.

8. Adults must have ID to show residency, and proof may be requested from law enforcement, Board Members, or management representative at any time. Failure to show proof may result in removal from pool, and or pool closure.

9. Radio volume must be low enough not to disturb nearby residents or other pool users. Headphones are encouraged.

10. Violations of these Rules should be reported to the management company.

11. IN THE EVENT OF A MEDICAL OR SAFETY EMERGENCY, CALL 911.

12. A management representative, police officer, pool committee member, or current Board Member can require you to leave the pool pending further resolution. Proof of residency may be requested and must be produced.

13. Persons having any considerable area of exposed sub-epidermal tissue, cuts, or known or recognizable contagious diseases, shall not be permitted to use the pool.

14. Spitting or blowing the nose in the pool shall be strictly prohibited per Colorado law.

15. Parents are fully responsible for allowing their minor children and guests to use the pool unsupervised, and hereby certify unaccompanied minors are proficient swimmers. There is no liability to the Association for unaccompanied minors swimming unsupervised.

Disclosure / Waiver

I have reviewed the 2025 PIONEER HILLS POOL RULES and understand that a copy of the 2025 PIONEER HILLS POOL RULES are posted on the Community Association website and can be viewed at any time. In consideration for being granted pool/recreational facilities access, I agree that the use of the pool as well as the restrooms and any property connected to the pool, is at the sole risk of the user. I further understand that the use of all facilities is unsupervised, and that accident, injury or death may occur because of use. I hereby agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Association, its agents, and employees from and against all claims, demands, causes of action, and/or liability associated with the use of pool or other facilities attached to the pool, by myself, my family members, guests, tenants, and invitees. I also understand that my electronic key is my sole responsibility and if lost or stolen should be reported immediately to the Management Company to be released from any claims, demands, causes of action, and/or liability associated with its use.
